About VÆB

VÆB (pronounced 'vibe') is an Icelandic experimental electronic duo consisting of producer Björn Kristjánsson and vocalist Freydís Sjöfn. Formed in Reykjavík in 2021, the duo quickly established themselves as pioneers in Iceland’s rich electronic music scene.

Their debut EP 'Frost' received critical acclaim for its innovative blend of ambient soundscapes, glitchy electronics, and Freydís’s haunting vocal delivery, often sung in ancient Icelandic dialect. 'RÓA,' meaning 'calm,' explores peace in isolation with glacial field recordings.

VÆB’s ethereal style promises to captivate Eurovision with Iceland’s unique sonic identity.
